My law practice recently has been very busy representing small businesses against banks for predatory lending and fraudulent conduct. The banks involved have been in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, and are mostly your lesser known banks. Most of the relationships began during the pre-rescession days, turned even worse during the rescission, and resulted in millions of dollars lost by the small businesses and investors. I suspect many small businesses have found themselves injured by banks and did not know that there are legal alternatives to help them. If a small business feels that they have been wronged by a bank its officers should seek legal representation to determine their alternatives.
