William A. Lattimore
Will Lattimore is a partner at Gathings Law. He joined the firm in 2012 and specializes in complex plaintiffs’ litigation. He began his legal career as the law clerk for Judge Nicole Gordon Still, State Circuit Court Judge for Alabama’s Tenth Judicial District, Jefferson County. Since joining Gathings Law, he has worked on cases ranging from environmental law to complex business fraud to serious auto accidents. His first trial resulted in a more than $600 thousand judgment for his client.
Will is admitted to practice law in both Alabama and Georgia. He is an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section.
A South Carolina native, Will came to Alabama to attend the University of Alabama School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in May 2011. He received many honors while in law school, serving as both a senior editor of the Alabama Law Review and as a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, in addition to receiving CALI Awards for Excellence in Civil Procedure, Admiralty, and Special Problems in Civil Procedure: Litigating International Claims in Domestic Courts. Will was also respected outside the classroom by his peers, serving as President of the Alabama Student Bar Association.
